Emeryville Center of Community Life (ECCL)

The new school for Emery Center for Community life in Emeryville consist of a K-12 facility with four new buildings and a retrofit gymnasium. The new buildings include two wood-framed structures, one for a kindergarten and the other for a community/medical facility. An additional two buildings, each two-story and steel-framed, were designed for classrooms and an auditorium. The full project budget was approximately $96 million. All buildings were designed for Seismic Occupancy Category III in accordance with the 2010 California Building Code.
