Diane has nearly 30 years of diverse structural design experience as a Senior Project Engineer with Murphy Burr Curry, where she’s worked since graduating from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo.

As an engineer, Diane believes that strong communication with the design team is critical. She enjoys coming up with efficient and cost-effective designs for each unique client. She also enjoys working on new construction projects and collaborating with architects to solve complex detailing challenges.

Diane has extensive experience with multifamily housing projects, which include apartments, affordable housing, and senior housing.  She has also worked on numerous school projects such as Classroom Buildings, Multipurpose Buildings, Performance Art Centers, and Gymnasiums. She frequently works on wood, concrete, and steel construction, and especially enjoys the detailing for wood and steel projects.
