Steven (Steve) Curry is a registered Civil and Structural Engineer in California with nearly 40 years of practice working in the Bay Area since graduating from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. His previous experience before co-founding MBC included work at Culley Associates (now Holmes) in San Francisco.

Steve believes in building strong partnerships with all his clients and has worked on various types of projects throughout his career. He has recently been Principal in charge of over 24 school modernizations, additions, and improvement projects in California including Raoul Wallenberg High School (SFUSD), Francisco Middle School (SFUSD), and Palo Alto High School (PAUSD).

He has also been Principal in charge of over 28 new housing projects for affordable, student, and senior housing such as Hunters Point Shipyard (SF), 2175 Market Street (SF), MacArthur BART Transit Housing (Oakland), and 5800 Third Street (SF). Steve’s housing experience also includes a variety of modular construction projects.

Retail projects are also a large portion of his work. They include store renovations such as Prada, Gucci, Hermes, Neiman Marcus, Chanel, Sony, Valentino and Ferrari.
