Andrew Guan is a licensed Civil and Structural Engineer in the State of California with over ten years of professional experience in designing building structures, project management, construction administration, and construction management. Throughout his career, he has worked on a diverse range of projects, including new construction of retail, office, residential, and institutional buildings, and retrofit of commercial and residential buildings.  His design expertise encompasses various materials, including reinforced concrete, masonry, steel, and timber.

When approaching projects, Andrew is able to understand multiple perspectives and emphasizes coordination with project architects and other trades during different design phases.  He has experience working in both office settings, handling design and documentation, and in the field, performing structural observations and inspections.  He is proficient at working both independently and as part of a team, depending on project needs. He holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
