Brickyard Landing Pedestrian Bridge

Murphy Burr Curry, Inc. provided structural design services for this prefabricated footbridge. The structure, which provides access from a parking garage to the fourth floor of a residential complex, required bridge support towers and buttress anchorage. The south tower was designed as a moment-frame structure, which was founded on two existing drilled piers. The north buttress was modified to resist seismic loads.
