350 Eighth Street is an entire city block of market rate housing in San Francisco’s SOMA district, providing 410 units. This new mixed-use project will consist of eight structures along four streets with new internal alleys and a full block basement level. The site will include a public park with a cafe and open space. At the ground floor along the major streets, high ceiling space for retail and commercial use are provided.

The structure consists of 4 and 5 stories of timber framing over one level podium slab above street level. The ground floor slab encompasses the entire city block. The foundation bears on an improved soil sub base utilizing rammed aggregate piers and drill displacement columns.
