Murphy Burr Curry, Inc. provided structural engineering services for the adaptive reuse of the old French Hospital Nursing Building at the University of San Francisco. Converting the building to student housing required a detailed understanding of the existing conditions, which were complicated by several years of delayed maintenance. MBC discovered and corrected several hidden conditions, and new ADA-compliant features were added.
