Murphy Burr Curry, Inc. worked on the Tenant Improvements for Twitter for their new offices at 1355 Market Street, San Francisco. The base building retrofit included adding new concrete shear walls, an elevator shear core and steel floor ties connecting the two sections of the original building. Other upgrades included floor strengthening for a new 9th floor terrace with an open area green roof. Tenant improvements included removing or modifying bearing and shear walls and removing columns to create a large open area for a café and auditorium.
