Murphy Burr Curry provided structural tenant improvement services for the Nespresso’s new store located in the Westfield University Town Center mall.  The 1,500 square foot store is prominently located in the center’s main courtyard.  Structural support was provided for new storefront glazing along two facades, along with support for new HVAC equipment, suspended ceiling, and Nespresso’s signature Tasting Area hood.  The store is located in a wood and CMU framed building from the mall’s original construction in the late 1970’s that had been heavily modified in the ensuing years.  A unique steel framed system was developed to provide support for Nespresso’s modern storefront system within the limitations of the existing building.
